Vintage Nouveau is an e-commerce website that sells custom-refinished furniture, décor, vintage items, skin care products, print-on-demand, and digital files (plus more, as added).

Where are you located?

Vintage Nouveau is located in Sherwood Park, Alberta. I am a homebased business. 

What services do you provide?

Furniture refinishing services are available. See the Contact Me page to request a quote.

Customers are responsible for all shipping costs, unless otherwise indicated. 

Large Items

All refinished furniture that is too large to ship via Canada Post shall be picked up at my home in Sherwood Park. If you cannot pick up items, shipping may be arranged.

Contact me before purchasing large items, as shipping costs may be higher than expected. Shipping furniture is via truck transport. I will provide you with a delivery quote. Shipping quotes can take a few days to obtain, depending on the carriers’ response time.

Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping. Payment of the item and shipping must be made in full before items are shipped.

Furniture items can be purchased on the website; however, shipping fees will be paid by e-transfer (or cash if applicable).

Customers are free to obtain their quotes for shipping and arrange a transport company to pick up the items. Customers are responsible for any fees and damage incurred by their transport company.

All sales are final.

Pick up

Customers must be able to transport the furniture in their vehicle and under their power. Customers should bring suitable items such as moving blankets, cardboard, or other methods to protect the product from damage.

Vintage Nouveau is not responsible for damage incurred during or after transport. All sales are final.

Delivery

Delivery may be available but is at the discretion of the business and must be confirmed before purchase. Any delivery services will be within a defined radius of Sherwood Park and require payment in full before delivering the products. Delivery services depend upon many factors, including availability of assistance, weather conditions, scheduling, etc.

Additional fees will apply for any delivery services. Delivers would be curb-side and not into the customer’s home or apartment building. The customer is responsible for getting the product into their home. The customer is responsible for any damage incurred during transport or when placing the product in the home. All sales are final.

Small Items

Small items (décor, skin care, jewelry, boxes, and similar) are shipped via Canada Post. The cost to ship these items is calculated at checkout. All sales are final.

If you are unhappy with the product’s condition when it arrives – should it arrive damaged or broken, please get in touch with us within five business days to allow us time to follow up with the shipping company.

Small items can be picked up in person.

Print-on-Demand Products

The print-on-demand products, such as t-shirts and mugs, are shipped from a third party and are considered custom items and non-refundable. These items are purchased through Etsy at this time. Etsy’s applicable laws and rights apply when purchasing items through their website. See their website for more information.

If there are any concerns with the received items, please get in touch with us within five business days to allow us time to investigate with the third-party company.

Digital Downloads

These are instant downloads upon purchase. No shipping is required. All sales are final.

Where can I pick up my items? I don't see an address.

Pickup is in Sherwood Park, Alberta, at my home. If you wish to pick up the item, my address will be provided when I receive your order. We can find a time that works best for both of us.

How soon do I have to pick up my item(s)?

Paid purchases must be picked up within seven calendar days. If this doesn’t work for you, please be sure to indicate when you can pick up the item in the notes field when you check out. You can also arrange shipping for an additional fee if that works better for you.

Unpaid items (local pickup) must be paid within 24 hours of finalizing your purchase. If I do not hear from you in that time or you do not respond to my emails, I will cancel the purchase.

How do I make a cash or e-transfer payment?

Cash can be paid in person when picking up the item.

E-transfers are made to orders@vndecor.ca. Payment must be received within 24 hours of completion of your online purchase.

Can I hold an item for payment and pick up?

If you wish to hold an item, a 50% non-refundable deposit must be made within 24 hours of completion of your online purchase.
