Overview

Small items may be eligible for return. Customers must contact the business to discuss the reason for the return.

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be returned in the original packaging. The item must have a defect or significant reason for return. Simply changing your mind isn’t considered a significant or suitable reason. Photos of the defect must be provided. Not providing sufficient evidence of the concern will result in refusal to accept a return.

Please consult listing descriptions for sizes and weights before ordering. Keep in mind that monitor colours and different lighting may alter the appearance of the piece. 

All approved returned goods must be in original, undamaged condition. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Third-party print-on-demand items are not eligible for return – See my Etsy Store for its refund and return policy.

For approved returns of purchases from vndecor.ca, returns can be made by registered mail. To return a good by mail, follow the following procedure:

Pack the goods securely and return them via Canada Post or courier services available to the customer. Ensure you insure the package for the minimum value of the returned item. Use a trackable shipping option. A return address will be provided once the return is approved.

Any items returned in unsatisfactory condition will not be eligible for a full refund. The business retains the right to refuse a refund if the product is returned damaged or is not in salable condition. A restocking fee will apply. 

Restocking Fee

There is an additional charge for restocking – this covers the surcharges on the sale plus the time it takes to repost the item for sale.

Exempt from Returns

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods or personal beauty products cannot be returned.

Shipping Damage

If an item is damaged in shipping, a claim will be made through Canada Post by Vintage Nouveau. You must provide sufficient evidence of the damage, including photos of the shipping box and the damage. Once a claim is processed, you will be refunded for the price of the item.

Shipping Returns

To return your product, prior approval is required. We will provide the return shipping address once approved.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the original shipping will be deducted from your refund.
